**Updated 7/17 to include specific face covering measurements and fit info.**
Chatham Charter DECA is selling school-themed face masks and reusable water bottles to support the organization's fundraising efforts for the year. The mask and water bottles will be on sale for one week, starting this Tuesday, July 14, 2020, and can be purchased online here.
The over-the ear faceguard masks will be offered in four different patterns -- Verge, Digi, Streak, and Classic -- and feature custom adjustable ear straps for maximum comfort with ergonomic silicone beads for adjusting. The face coverings are 100% cotton and have a durable wash-tested outer layer of fabric and comfortable breathable inner layer. Sizing is one size fits all, with the top to bottom measurement in the middle just at 6-inches, and side-to-side (over nose) at 10-inches. For smaller or younger students, particularly in K-2, it is recommended that an adult measure the student's face before ordering. Mask fit is extremely individual, and these are one size fits all, but that may not work for every person.
There are three reusable water bottle designs and colorways. The first is the black 25oz soft-touch water bottle. The black bottle has a grey/silver knight and Chatham Charter design. The second is a Chatham Charter purple 24oz Sip and Flip aluminum bottle with a large Chatham Charter Knight design in white. The third is a 28oz white aluminum sports bottle with a purple Chatham Charter Knights design.
Masks can be bought for $10 each, while water bottles are $15 each.
Chatham Charter DECA is also offering families the ability to donate funds to buy masks and water bottles for those who are unable to afford one. When you go to purchase your masks there is an option for you to donate towards buying masks for students who may not be able to afford one otherwise.
In keeping with the DECA mission of preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs to be college and career ready, all marketing materials and writing were spearheaded by the 2020-2021 Chatham Charter DECA officers: Christina "Gracie" Agnew, Abbey Gaines, Clay Griffin, Sebastian Nave-Plata, Carter Phillips and Lina Sorensen.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will be directly used by the chapter to support all members and offset costs associated with DECA conferences and competitions. Approximately 25 percent of Chatham Charter’s high school students are members of DECA. Chatham Charter DECA thanks the entire community for continued support.
